T-Mobile G1 (Android) Launch Today

T-Mobile is supposed to unveil the G1 today, the first smartphone based on Google's Android OS. The much awaited iPhone 3G killer is rumored to have free Gmail to attract Blackberry addicts.
The G1 (HTC Dream) will be out in October and will cost $199 with a two-year contract. The G1 sports a large touchscreen display with haptic feedback, a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2 MP camera, 3G and Wi-Fi. It may not be as stylish as Apple's iPhone but is certainly more functional and has way more features.
The details on the G1 will be updated shortly. Keep visiting.
