T-Mobile G1 (Android) Out!!

The much awaited T-Mobile G1 based on Google's Android is now out.
The price of the G1 will be $179 with a two-year contract from T-Mobile. It will have two data-messaging plan options - unlimited web usage and some messaging for $25, and unlimited messaging and Internet access for $35.

Display: 3.2" 65K color touchscreen with HVGA (480×320 px) resolutions.
Battery Life: 5 hour talktime, 120 hours standby

Networks: GSM/GPRS/EDGE/Wi-Fi and UMTS/HSDPA850/900/1700/1800/1900/2100Mhz
Compatible with all major networks around the world. With some hacks, of course ;)

The first Android market previews are out. It promises to be much better than the iPhone Appstore, thanks to its open nature. Applications are all free as of now and have no approval process. There will be a ranking system ala Youtube to rank the better apps.
